Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team at Primrose School of Castle Rock. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and care for a group of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement daily lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Assess and address the individual needs of each child, working closely with the Leadership Team to develop and implement personalized plans.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, providing regular updates and feedback.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency.
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood education program.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
