Job Summary

WEAVE Inc is seeking a highly skilled Content Creator to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that showcases our brand's mission, values, and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our organizational objectives and engages our target audience.
  • Create high-quality video content for social media, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and e-newsletter.
  • Produce communications documents and collateral, including collaborating with cross-functional teams, content design, approval, vendor selection, and distribution.
  • Update our website to ensure content is current, engaging, and aligned with our organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to adjust strategies and improve engagement and reach.
  • Assist in the creation of other multimedia content, such as graphics, infographics, and photos.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content creation, social media, and web design.
  • Support other communications and marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Represent WEAVE Inc at community events and professional networks, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, communications, or a related field, and a minimum of one year of professional experience creating marketing materials and social media content.
  • High degree of knowledge and comfort using O365/Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, Planner, Lists, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience using digital design and scheduling platforms like Canva, Loomly, Constant Contact, and MailChimp. Experience with Adobe Suite strongly preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to use project management tools and software, create project plans, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High degree of knowledge of social media channels and ability to develop tailored content based on audiences.
  • Proficiency with office machines, including computers, database systems, scanners.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a cooperative, professional demeanor with clients, volunteers, staff, and community members.
  • Occasional lifting of boxes up to 25 lbs.
  • Complete WEAVE's peer counselor training program (post-hiring requirement).
  • Valid CA Driver's license and reliable transportation, including vehicle insurance.
