Environmental Services
Job Responsibilities
The Custodian, under direct supervision, is responsible for performing cleaning tasks, changing bed linens, floor maintenance, and other related duties as assigned. This role may involve specific cleaning tasks to uphold a sterile environment throughout the healthcare facilities.
Key Duties Include:
- Maintaining cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, adhering to safety protocols for chemical usage. (20%)
- Changing and managing bed linens. (15%)
- Collecting and disposing of trash and linen efficiently. (15%)
- Transporting and managing waste, recycling, and linen to designated areas while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. (15%)
- Utilizing floor care equipment for stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors, as well as cleaning carpets and upholstery. (15%)
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions. (10%)
- Preparing cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents or acids as per specifications. (10%)
Qualifications
- No High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment, along with safety hazards and precautions necessary for a safe working environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in English is strongly preferred.
Work Schedule
Varied shifts available.

Hourly rate: $27.00
