Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Monitor and report patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including pain management and labor induction.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and develop plans for patient discharge.
- Document patient care and outcomes in electronic medical records.
- 1 year of experience working as a full-time Registered Nurse in labor and delivery.
- Clinical experience within the last 2 years.
- Current State Licensure.
- Current Relevant Certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc).
