Seeking a Radiation Oncologist to Join Our Team

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our dynamic and rapidly growing faculty. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop our service lines and advance our program in Gynecologic and Sarcoma Malignancies.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a focus on Brachytherapy, as this expertise will be essential in advancing our program. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience following training, although more recent graduates with exceptional educational experiences are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be certified by the American Board of Radiology and possess the technical and scholarly skills and clinical experience necessary to establish and maintain an active clinical multidisciplinary practice. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care to our patients and to advance the field of Radiation Oncology through clinical investigation and research.

Our state-of-the-art facility provides a full range of radiation oncology services, including IMRT, SBRT, IGRT, 3D conformal radiotherapy, VMAT, 4DCT, HDR brachytherapy, and non-sealed isotopes' tumor ablation.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Radiation Oncology
  • 3-5 years of experience following training
  • Interest and experience in Brachytherapy
  • Technical and scholarly skills and clinical experience necessary to establish and maintain an active clinical multidisciplinary practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adjunct faculty appointment with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
  • Experience in clinical investigation and research
