Maintenance Custodian/Driver Job Summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Noble Corps is seeking a skilled Maintenance Custodian/Driver to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform custodial duties to maintain clean, tidy, and sanitary conditions throughout the building.
  • Load, unload, and drive food/donation deliveries.
  • Maintain vehicle fleet, including cleaning and scheduling maintenance.
  • Perform minor repair work to maintain safety and within scope of training/regulations.
  • Assist with special/seasonal events, including room set up, driving supplies, etc.
  • Maintain grounds, including snow/ice removal.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of custodial experience.
  • Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Examiners Certificate required.
  • Meet MVR requirements.
  • Pass background checks.
Working Conditions:

Regular physical work including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking, and standing. Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Driving/Travel Requirements:

Regular local travel by agency or personal vehicle. Rare out-of-area travel.
