Job Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff at NISA Staffing Solutions LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including area cleaning, floor care, and trash removal.
  • Polish and clean assigned areas, including furniture and fixtures.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables from assigned work areas.
  • Maintain tile and carpeted floors through daily mopping and vacuuming.
  • Occasionally move furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Perform weekly deep cleaning tasks in assigned areas.
  • Clean and sanitize trash cans, wheelchairs, stretchers, and other rolling stock daily.
  • Maintain assigned areas to meet quality control standards.
  • Wash and disinfect furniture and fixtures as needed.
  • Use supplies efficiently and effectively.
  • Clean and disinfect beds, bed controls, and other equipment upon patient discharge.
  • Maintain department and hospital equipment in good working condition.
  • Collect and dispose of refuse, including cleaning and relining of receptacles.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Stay up-to-date on all safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness drills and actual emergencies as instructed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous custodial experience required.
