Job Title: Senior Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiation Therapist to join our team at Boston Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering accurate dosages of radiation to patients using up-to-date equipment. You will also be responsible for documenting detailed records of all therapy sessions, providing technical supervision to radiation therapists, and ensuring that patients receive quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver accurate dosages of radiation to patients using up-to-date equipment
  • Document detailed records of all therapy sessions
  • Provide technical supervision to radiation therapists
  • Ensure that patients receive quality care
  • Conduct quality assurance practices to ensure accurate treatment delivery
  • Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide clinical instruction and training to radiation oncology students
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Associate of Science in Radiation Therapy or equivalent from a JRCERT accredited institution
  • ARRT Certification, Massachusetts State License
  • 3-5 years of related experience in Radiation Therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
