Job Summary

As a Bilingual Retail Customer Service Specialist at The Sherwin-Williams Company, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our retail stores. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and develop your skills in customer service, sales, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to retail and wholesale customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to drive sales growth.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, contributing to the store's overall success.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Tint and mix products as needed, to customer specifications, and maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Assist in making deliveries as needed, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options and making recommendations to customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction, contributing to the store's overall success.

Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
