We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network - Midwest. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job Summary:This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a current licensure in the applicable state (SC). Additionally, the candidate should have experience in pediatric, neonate, and infant care, as well as certifications in American Heart Association BLS PALS for Health Care Providers and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including respiratory therapy services, to patients of all ages.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct respiratory assessments, administer medications, and perform various respiratory procedures as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
- At least 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current NBRC-Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (SC).
- American Heart Association BLS PALS for Health Care Providers certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
