Job Title: Pulmonology-Critical Care Physician
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonology-Critical Care Physician to join our team at Indiana University Health. As a Pulmonology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our team of healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory and critical care conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory and critical care conditions, including pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and respiratory therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pulmonology and critical care medicine
Requirements:
- Board certification in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Indiana
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
