Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Tokio Marine North America, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day GAAP accounting activities for our company and its business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains accurate and detailed financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and organizational standards.
  • Prepares and formulates financial reports for internal and external use, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Supervises junior accounting staff and assists in their professional development.
  • Creates and utilizes automated tools for financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA certification or working towards obtaining it.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Emotional maturity and confidentiality in handling sensitive company information.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000, with the ultimate salary offered based on factors such as experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base salary.
