Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst who will play a crucial role in managing the receivables and credit for our key clients. This position is integral to our commitment to Total Quality Management, focusing on continuous enhancements aimed at reducing costs, optimizing cycle times, boosting sales and gross profit, and elevating customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses of account data to identify root causes of issues and recommend effective solutions for process enhancements.
- Evaluate, suggest, and implement improvements within the Receivables, Credit, and Treasury functions, while identifying optimal automated solutions.
- Address unique billing scenarios, propose actionable solutions, and develop and execute improvement strategies (e.g., ERS, EDI, customer interactions).
- Collaborate with the EDI and e-commerce teams to streamline processes.
- Prepare month-end reconciliation reports for various Accounts Receivable General Ledger accounts.
- Handle specific large customer accounts similarly to an Account Analyst, including cash application when necessary.
- Utilize Equifax reporting tools to assist in making informed credit decisions for service centers and field management.
- Provide backup support for month-end internal and external reporting, as well as for bank corrections and error processing.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Background in Receivables and/or credit management is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access, along with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
