Job Title: Echocardiography Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Echocardiography Instructor to join our team at Minnesota State Community and Technical College. As an Echocardiography Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of echocardiography, a critical aspect of diagnostic medical sonography.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive curriculum for echocardiography courses
  • Teach and facilitate student learning in a dynamic and interactive environment
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Maintain professional skills and credentials in echocardiography
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in sonography
  • Three full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid clinical work experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer
  • National certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in sonography
  • Three full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid clinical work experience as an echocardiography technician
  • Registry credentials by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in the discipline being taught
