Bartender

  • Greet patrons, actively listen to their beverage preferences, provide recommendations, and process orders
  • Inform guests about new drink offerings and specials
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to accurately address customer inquiries, suggest menu items, and promote sales
  • Mix and prepare beverages, garnish drinks, and serve them to customers
  • Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age
  • Deliver responsible service of alcoholic beverages, adhering to all local, state, and federal liquor laws and food safety standards
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to keep the bar and tables well-stocked
  • Prepare and serve menu items according to Fogo de Chão's recipes and standards, utilizing appropriate equipment and ingredients
  • Efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks, ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately, providing correct change to customers and balancing the cash register
  • Enhance personal knowledge and assist colleagues in understanding essential bar terminology, including wine and liquor varieties, and types of mixed drinks

  • Complete all reasonable tasks assigned by management while maintaining an understanding of current laws.
