Nursing Professional

The Nursing Professional - LPN is a vital member of the healthcare team at DAP Health, responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. As a key contributor to our team, you will be expected to perform assigned nursing care activities with precision and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and support the mission of DAP Health, upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Prepare and replenish supplies in treatment rooms and exam rooms, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
- Receive patients, take and record chief complaints, and prepare patients for examination, demonstrating exceptional communication skills.
- Collect specimens, take EKGs, collect blood samples, and assist physicians with examinations, treatments, minor surgery, dressing changes, and splinting.
- Explain procedures to patients, providing clear and concise information at their request.
- Assist providers in collecting specimens, such as pap smears and throat cultures, and participate in exams, invasive procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Clean and sterilize supplies, rooms, and equipment, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Report equipment maintenance needs and material ordering requirements to the head nurse, ensuring seamless operations.
- Administer medications, premixed allergens, and perform skin tests and patch testing, adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain quality assurance logs, including oxygen pressure, glucometer, refrigerator temperature, medication inventory, sample medication inventory, and immunizations inventory.
- Stay up-to-date on department policies and protocols, promoting uniform delivery of services and quality assurance.
- Answer telephones, providing accurate information to patients and visitors.
- Supply exam rooms with educational materials, promoting patient engagement and empowerment.
- Attend all staff meetings, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Maintain good working relationships with all clinic personnel, upholding a culture of respect and professionalism.
- Work according to job description and scope of practice, with the head nurse providing additional training as needed.
- Five years of experience in nursing is preferred, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
All staff members are required to have a current and valid CPR and First Aid certification on file with the Human Resources Department.
