Position Overview
Navistar is looking for both entry-level and experienced Production Assemblers to become part of our expanding workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components, parts, and products utilizing a variety of tools and machinery. A strong commitment to quality, precision in your work, and a meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Work Environment:
Our facility is climate-controlled, including the manufacturing floor.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 1st Shift (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) or 2nd Shift (7:30 PM - 6:00 AM). Flexibility to work both shifts is required.
Benefits:
Benefits commence on the first day of employment.

Compensation:
Starting pay is $20.25 per hour, with an additional 6% shift differential for 2nd Shift.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Gather incoming components and assemble them into products according to process instructions, ensuring all necessary gauge verifications are performed.
2. Execute all tasks required to uphold quality and productivity standards.
3. Provide support to colleagues on various tasks to achieve uptime goals.
4. Actively engage as a member of the work group and business team.
5. Pursue continuous improvement and focus on enhancing processes.
6. Guide, assist, and direct team members as necessary.
7. Ensure adherence to process instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans, and promptly inform the group leader of any discrepancies.
8. Take responsibility for meeting objectives and planning strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Additional Requirements:
Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions (e.g., US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee). Navistar does not foresee providing employment-related work sponsorship for this position.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the following tasks for up to 10 hours per shift:
- Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl.
- Climb using both legs and arms.
- Move head/neck.
- Reach outward or above shoulder height.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull weights between 15-45 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers.
- Operate vibrating tools.
- Exposure to consistent and intermittent noise, fumes, smoke, gases, solvents, paint, grease, oils, radiant energy, and slippery surfaces.

Must be willing to work any shift.

Desired Skills:

- At least six months of experience interpreting assembly build instructions.
