Clinical Nurse III: Critical Care Float Pool Specialist

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Critical Care Float Pool Nurse III to join our team. As a Critical Care Float Pool Nurse III, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Department/Unit: Critical Care Float Pool
Work Shift: Night (United States of America)
The Critical Care Float Pool at Albany Medical Center is a 17-bed mixed medical and surgical adult ICU that provides specialized progressive care to our community. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Develop and maintain expertise in critical care nursing practices and procedures
Requirements:
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred
- Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask physically and mentally.
