Make a Difference in Our Production Team
Key Responsibilities
- Review the production schedule to identify the types and quantities of products to be mixed
- Input materials into the work order using SAP
- Complete batch records accurately
- Prepare and label finished acid mixes with precision
- Oversee machine setup
- Adhere to work instructions, standards, and SOPs for equipment setup and changeover
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during setup and changeover
- Determine necessary ingredients and equipment for each production run;
- Load mixer with raw materials such as sugar, lactic acid, citric acid, and malic acid; ensure proper mixing of products
- Follow escalation protocols promptly when troubleshooting efforts are unsuccessful
- Sift mogul starch and maintain cleanliness of mogul trays as required
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Embrace and demonstrate the Company's core values and operational principles
- Comply with all company policies, GMP, and safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support Ferrara's business objectives
Essential Skills for Success
Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in batch production or food manufacturing preferred
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic mathematical proficiency
- Fundamental understanding of equipment capabilities, standards, and appropriate set points
- Ability to pass certification tests for pallet jack and forklift operation
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to comprehend detailed instructions
- Foster teamwork; maintain a positive attitude, and show flexibility in task performance
