About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled physiatrist to work with our multidisciplinary team in a 21-bed unit, providing comprehensive care to patients aged 18+. The ideal candidate will have expertise in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Working Conditions:
- Private rooms for all patients
- Average length of stay: 11 days
Hours and Scheduling:
- Unit hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m.
- Call schedule: evenings and 1:3 weekend coverage (shared with locum physiatrists)
Staffing and Support:
- Experienced team members, including OT, PT, PTA, COTA, and RN/LPNs
- Majority of staff members have over 15 years of experience
Case Load and Responsibilities:
- Rounding on 3-5 patients with 2-3 admits per weekend
- Managing 6 telemetry patients at any given time
Equipment and Facilities:
- Full gym, including car simulator

Compensation and Benefits:
