Job Title: Member Service Representative

At MidFlorida Credit Union, we're committed to providing exceptional service to our members. As a Member Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in helping our members achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service to members, identifying and recommending products and services that meet their needs.
  • Support daily branch operations, including assisting with teller and lobby duties.
  • Manage cash drawers and assist with daily branch balancing.
  • Process loan, IRA, and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to credit union image standards.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion while remaining compliant with established guidelines.
  • Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer-facing technology and assist members with self-service options.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee and member experiences.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong desire to help people and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office.
  • A history of meeting or exceeding sales expectations.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field, including teller, new accounts, and lending.
  • Familiarity with credit union and banking regulations.
  • Eligibility to meet the requirements of the SAFE Act and register as an MLO with NMLS.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
