RTX is seeking a skilled Machining Team Member to join our team in Columbus, GA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating process equipment, repairing and maintaining machinery, and performing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate process equipment in an assigned area.
- Repair and maintain machinery, including basic machine tools.
- Read and understand blueprints and work from written and verbal instructions.
- Perform basic shop mathematics and use basic measurement instruments.
- Service and repair equipment associated with the area where problems are identified.
- Assist in the development of other team members.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as completing MRP and status of work in process, conducting safety meetings, ordering tools and supplies, etc.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of machining experience.
