Responsibilities:


In your role as a Logistics Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage the movement of materials within the distribution center and from the loading dock using various equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and motorized conveyors.

You are dedicated to excellence and ready to take on challenges.

Additionally, your duties will include:
Operating a box truck, ensuring you possess a valid driver's license with no infractions in the past three years.

Receiving incoming inventory, logging items into the warehouse management system, and organizing stock in designated locations.

Interpreting work orders and shipping instructions or following verbal directives.

Processing customer invoices, verifying part numbers, and preparing inventory items for shipment.

Inspecting inventory for any defects or damages and promptly reporting issues to the Warehouse Manager.

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles and equipment.

Maintaining accurate inventory records in the designated system.

Keeping the warehouse space and equipment organized and clean as necessary.

Addressing any customer concerns or issues immediately.

Training fellow team members on warehouse operations, equipment use, and safety practices as needed.

Enforcing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.

Assessing current processes and suggesting improvements to warehouse management.

Offering insights on reducing warehouse costs and enhancing productivity.

Maintaining a thorough understanding of the warehouse data system and performing various tasks within it.

Delivering supplies and equipment promptly while complying with all relevant DOT and OSHA regulations.

Completing other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:
You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.

Proficient in using personal computers and software applications.

Strong to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

You possess problem-solving skills and enjoy hands-on work.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is necessary.

You are able to stand or walk for extended periods and frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Experience operating forklifts is preferred (Forklift Certification is a plus).

At least one year of experience in a warehouse setting is required.


Flexibility in your work schedule is important, as you may occasionally need to work long hours or travel to deliver materials to job sites.

You maintain a positive attitude in the face of change.
