This role offers a unique opportunity to excel in a dynamic environment that prioritizes strategic risk management and outstanding execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, price, and negotiate insurance accounts in alignment with the company's strategic objectives and risk quality.
- Establish and nurture relationships with wholesale brokers across the Northern California and Pacific Northwest regions.
- Collaborate with various departments including operations, claims, finance, and marketing to enhance product offerings and contribute to the financial success of the unit.
- Monitor product performance and propose strategies to boost productivity and profitability.
- Engage with a professional team to drive regional outcomes and explore new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in underwriting General and Professional Liability insurance with established broker connections in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Outgoing personality with a strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Solid understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and a competitive spirit.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously within a team-oriented environment.
- Service-oriented approach that facilitates effective interactions with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
