The position entails performing personal care tasks that assist clients with daily living activities, which may include:

  • Minimum of Six Months Experience as a Personal Care Assistant in a healthcare setting
  • Completion of a Competency Evaluation in accordance with State Licensing Laws for home health agencies
  • Current CPR Certification (recommended)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Valid Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

This position requires a minimum of 75 hours of technical training, which includes:

  • Vital Signs Monitoring
  • Blood Glucose Level Checks
  • Urine Testing for Sugar and Acetone Levels
