We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at BAYADA Home Health Care. As a Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany Clients in the Community: Spend quality time with clients, accompanying them on errands, to appointments, and engaging in their favorite hobbies and activities.
- Assist with Everyday Tasks: Provide support with meal preparation, household chores, and other daily tasks to ensure clients' independence and well-being.
- Participate in Community Integration Activities: Engage clients in community-based activities, promoting socialization, and helping them reach their full potential.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
- Experience Working with I/DD Individuals: While experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred, we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
