Medical Screener

About the Role:

As a Medical Screener at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your primary responsibility will be to screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results. You will also be responsible for answering phones, greeting donors, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
• Answer phones and greet donors
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes
• Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
