About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex mechanical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the mechanical design process for multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including the design of HVAC systems, automatic temperature controls, and air distribution systems.
  • Develop and implement project budgets, schedules, and quality control measures to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure that project requirements are met and that the final product meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and contribute to the growth and success of WSP.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on project management and design.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience in designing and implementing mechanical systems.
  • P.E. license required.
