Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Land Mobile Radio Technician to support the DHS FLETC program in Brunswick, GA. In this role, you will be part of a technically diverse team that provides IT Operations and Support to FLETC, which trains law enforcement professionals from over 90 different agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, configure, update, and program Land Mobile Radios (LMR) for both Conventional and Trunking systems, including Motorola XTS/XTL Series and Motorola APX 6000, 7000, and 8000 Series.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 LMR support.
- Program Motorola (APX Family) radios.
- Configure radio trunking systems.
- Manage the HEAT system, including entering and managing tickets.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma and two years of experience working in a technical support capacity.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Land Mobile Radios.
- Must be able to pass the Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation.
- Must be able to work onsite in Glynco, GA.
Compensation
The salary for this position will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
