Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Select Employment Services, Inc. as a Per Diem Recreational Therapist in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement appropriate recreation activities for patients in accordance with organizational guidelines.
  • Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload, ensuring all patients are oriented to recreation therapy.
  • Develop and lead hospital-wide leisure, social, and divergent programs.
  • Serve as an educator to patients on community resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
  • Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible to take exam required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
