About the Role:
The Production Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in our manufacturing facility. This position involves a variety of general maintenance tasks to ensure the production environment operates smoothly 24/7. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting complex machinery essential to our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures to support production lines
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks using SAP
- Participate in equipment rebuilds and overhauls
- Manage parts inventory and communicate shortages to the Parts Planner
- Maintain effective communication with maintenance team members
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives alongside production operators
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental policies
- Utilize the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system effectively
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment post-maintenance
- Install new equipment and provide training to production staff
- Monitor equipment performance and replenish materials as needed
- Conduct quality reviews of assigned equipment to maintain safety standards

Qualifications:
- Trade School certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret schematics
- Experience in welding and fabrication
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
- Quick learner with strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Skills in carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial technology preferred
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
