Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert

Location: US-VA-Norfolk

Schedule: Full-time

Travel: Yes, 5% of the time

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at Burns & McDonnell. As a member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

This includes designing and implementing secure engineering systems, correcting and updating designs, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties as assigned.

About the Role:

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

In addition, they should have internship experience and basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and general knowledge of cybersecurity technologies.

They should also have general knowledge of cybersecurity vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and the tools/techniques involved in both.

As a Cybersecurity Expert at Burns & McDonnell, you can expect a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
