Position Overview:
The Molding Machine Technician is accountable for operating molding machinery and ensuring the quality of the products manufactured. This role involves assessing whether the produced items meet the established quality criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate molding machines under the guidance of the department supervisor, adhering to established processes and protocols.
2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and verbal or written instructions to execute tasks effectively.
3. Report any defective materials, quality issues, or unusual circumstances to the supervisor promptly.
4. Uphold production and quality standards as outlined by management.
5. Ensure product quality through thorough inspection before, during, and after production.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
7. Operate blending machinery to combine raw materials.
8. Perform quality checks for surface defects and imperfections.
9. Secure components within molds and manage machine hoppers.
10. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
11. Participate in cross-training and assist in other production areas as needed.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform various assembly and soldering tasks manually.
• Good manual dexterity for handling small components.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
This role may require lifting weights ranging from 10 to 55 lbs, with frequent lifting of 20-55 lbs. Candidates should be prepared for extended periods of standing or sitting, up to 8-10 hours daily, and possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity. Exposure to industrial cleaning agents and oils may occur.
