Key Responsibilities: Oversee essential accounting functions related to Revenue and ensure precise financial reporting Collaborate effectively with various departments, including Financial Systems, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Data Management, and Accounts Receivable to guarantee timely and accurate financial data Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close process, while managing daily revenue accounting operations Ensure adherence to revenue accounting policies, procedures, and SOX controls through meticulous review of journal entries, account reconciliations, key controls, and flux analysis Play a pivotal role in the quarterly and annual review and audit process, managing critical deliverables for both internal and external auditors Conduct research on complex revenue transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment and document findings in compliance with ASC standards Assess potential business changes for their impact on compliance objectives related to SOX in your areas of responsibility Identify and implement process and system enhancements aimed at reducing close timelines while improving team efficiency and scalability Supervise a team of payroll accountants responsible for payroll-related accounting tasks across multiple regions, including the US, Canada, and Europe, covering aspects such as: Review of various compensation and benefits-related journal entries (regular pay cycles, off-cycles, RSUs, ESPPs, payroll accruals, etc.) Prepare and review payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations and address discrepancies Collaborate with payroll operations, Business System Engineers, and ADP Global View (Vendor) to stabilize recently implemented global payroll systems Partner with payroll operations, FP&A, and ADP teams to resolve non-reconciling items and analyze monthly activities Work with internal and external auditors and SOX teams for payroll accounting control walkthroughs and audit testing Maintain thorough recordkeeping of all payroll files and uphold sound internal controls Validate financial transactions through document audits Strengthen accounting controls by formulating and recommending policies and procedures Conduct monthly variance analyses for payroll-related expenses, including bonuses, commissions, severance, salaries/overtime, health benefits, and employer-paid taxes to ensure consistency and identify anomalies Assist in the monthly close process while adhering to established deadlines Exhibit effective and transparent communication skills A minimum of + years of experience is required If this position aligns with your expertise, we invite you to submit your application.
