About the Job

This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring that all floral products are properly displayed and maintained for quality and freshness. The successful candidate will be required to assist with day-to-day operations, including adhering to all floral merchandising guidelines, maintaining a neat and clean workstation, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service throughout the store.
  • Perform various merchandising techniques relative to the floral department, including arrangements, displays, pricing, and customer special orders.
  • Ensure that all customer special orders/arrangements are accurately filled.
  • Maintain all plant life within the floral operation to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Observe local market conditions and competitive activity relating to the floral department and keep management informed.
  • Adhere to all company and state sanitation and safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements
  • Pass a floral design test given by the Floral Merchandising Department.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
