Radiologist Job Description

CPS is seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team. As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting medical images to diagnose and treat various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Image Interpretation and Diagnosis: Analyze and interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, to provide accurate diagnostic information and detailed reports.
  • Patient Care and Communication: Communicate findings and diagnostic impressions to referring physicians and healthcare teams, and discuss findings with patients as necessary.
  • Procedural Work: Perform and interpret specialized imaging procedures, such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and biopsies, if applicable.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of image interpretations, diagnostic conclusions, and patient reports.
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of imaging and diagnostic accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Educational Requirements: Medical Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency: Completion of an accredited residency program in Radiology.
  • Certifications: Board Certification/Eligibility in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) is preferred.
  • State Licensure: Active medical license to practice radiology in the relevant state.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sub Specialization: Sub specialization or additional training in areas such as interventional radiology, neuroradiology, or musculoskeletal radiology is a plus.
