Key Responsibilities:- Operate at the convergence of software development and site reliability, crafting SRE tools and systems while maintaining existing platforms.
- Guarantee the reliability, availability, and performance of Zilliz's distributed database architectures.
- Formulate and execute strategies for monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Automate operational and maintenance processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
- Design and develop tools for infrastructure management and monitoring, ensuring scalability and durability.
- Collaborate with software developers to boost system reliability, scalability, and performance metrics.
- Oversee and enhance the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate seamless and rapid deployment of updates.
- Contribute actively to the Milvus open-source community, focusing on enhancing reliability and operational effectiveness.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in site reliability engineering or related fields, particularly with cloud-native systems.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Expertise in cloud service platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with their monitoring and management tools.
- Experience with infrastructure as code solutions such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and resolve issues efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Capability to excel in a dynamic startup environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
