  • Mediate consumer complaints.
  • Work on student loan and other financial services policy issues.
  • Participate in outreach and education initiatives.
  • Support more experienced Assistant Attorneys General with the investigation/litigation of consumer protection matters, legal research, and the implementation of settlements.

This role requires a JD from an accredited law school and excellent work ethic, motivation to work in the public interest, and high intellectual curiosity. Familiarity with financial products, student loans, or the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and being comfortable working autonomously but also as part of a team is essential.
