Position: Production Operations I (Direct)-Contingent Worker

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: (05:30 AM - 02:00 PM)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Work Safely: Ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide assistance in the production or remanufacturing of UX Traction Motor Combo components, adhering to quality and engineering standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize manual and automated production equipment, hydraulic or pneumatic tools, and follow in-house manufacturing and quality procedures to ensure products meet specified requirements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work on components according to internal criteria, using fixtures, precision measuring devices, and testing protocols.
  • Documentation: Complete process documentation for each work step, maintaining accurate records.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as required to support the production process.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • EHS Familiarity: Familiarity with EHS procedures and policies.
  • Manual Equipment: Ability to safely use manual equipment and hand tools.
  • Inspection Equipment: Proficiency in operating inspection measurement equipment.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing and quality procedures related to the product line in a lean manufacturing environment.

Training and Development:

  • On-the-Job Training: Progress safely through on-the-job training.
  • Quality Audits: Successfully complete quality audits as per internal procedures for the assigned product line and/or equipment.
  • Job Task Performance: Demonstrate the ability to safely perform job tasks using manual or automated equipment and conduct necessary inspections or tests.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Properly document and record inspection results following in-house procedures.
  • Defect Rate Maintenance: Maintain acceptable defect rates.
  • Specialized Training: If applicable, complete safety and specialized process training or certification.
  • Lifting Ability: Capability to lift up to 75lbs.
