  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
  • Load and Unload Waste: Load and unload waste at designated facilities, using hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse.
  • Interact with Customers: Provide courteous interaction with customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and respectful manner.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
  • Physical Demands: This role requires extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment: The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, and requires following basic safety precautions.
  • Weather Conditions: The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Valid CDL: Possess a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience preferred, with basic knowledge of truck components and ability to complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
