Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electronics Engineer - Network Hardware Specialist to join our team at Northrop Grumman. The selected candidate will be responsible for integrating and testing software and hardware systems in complex IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering and automated deployments for datacenter system configurations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to install, troubleshoot, and redline documented procedures.
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians in a lab environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience.
  • Experience in deploying, configuring, hardening, and maintaining network routing and switching devices.
  • Experience in network information and event management systems (ISE, Solarwinds, LibreNMS).
  • Experience in software-defined networking technologies (NSX).
  • Familiarity with network security devices (Firewalls, IDS, IPS).
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, Go, etc.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience utilizing Linux command line and Linux-based tools.
  • Active in-scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container networking.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with version control, GIT experience preferred.
  • Ability to author and maintain technical installation, configuration, and update documentation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

Salary Range: $87,200 - $130,800

Salary Range 2: $107,300 - $160,900
