The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers with their healthcare needs and maximize health outcomes by filling prescriptions, providing clinical services, advising on therapies, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Engage customers seeking guidance on pharmacological and non-pharmacological options for health condition management using provided clinical tools.
- Provide clinical pharmacy services based on state regulations, including adherence support, immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), point-of-care testing (POCT), diagnostic testing, and prescriptive authority.
- Leverage products and services to benefit the customer and build profitable retail business and script growth.
- Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
- Provide appropriate patient care with in-person, telephonic, or digital means, collaborating with providers and patient care teams focused on patient health and wellness outcomes.
- Assist Pharmacy Manager with the supervision of the pharmacy by providing leadership to the pharmacy associates and supervise the completion of their training, provide coaching, and performance feedback.
- Pharmacist License in the state practicing pharmacy.
- Immunization Certification.
- CPR Certification.
- Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
