The Golden Nugget Hotels & Casinos is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all public areas, including floors, carpets, and surfaces.
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, including industrial cleaning machines and floor care tools.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent results.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure seamless execution of cleaning tasks.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning and sanitation, preferably in a hotel or casino environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures, including the use of chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
