About the Position
">We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team at the University of California-Davis. As a critical care physician assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care to neurosurgical patients and their families, working collaboratively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and seamless patient care.

- Clinical Practice (70%): Provide direct patient care to inpatients in the hospital, including obtaining history and physical, pre-and post-operative management, ordering and following up on laboratory and radiology studies, and attending M&M and QA conferences as required.">
- Coordination and Collaboration (15%): Work closely with medical staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.">
- Research and Program Development (5%): Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives in neurosurgery and critical care.">
- Education (5%): Engage in educational activities, such as teaching and training junior staff members and students.">
- Professional Development (5%): Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurosurgery and critical care by attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.">
About the Department
">The Department of Neurological Surgery is a clinical specialty unit in the School of Medicine that provides direct patient care, training, and graduate medical education, as well as basic and applied medical research programs.
">Salary Information
">The estimated salary for this position is $93,000-$122,800 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
