Job Summary:

St. Mary's General Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a critical role in the evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and other services prescribed by a physician.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Assist in developing and implementing new programs to enhance department services

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting
  • Licensed by the State in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current BLS for healthcare provider's certification
