Job Overview:

The Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within the facilities. This position is essential for ensuring that all areas are kept in a hygienic, safe, and welcoming condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform cleaning duties in offices, meeting rooms, and recreational spaces.
  2. Mop and maintain tile and concrete flooring.
  3. Vacuum all carpeted areas to ensure cleanliness.
  4. Dust and wipe down furniture and fixtures as necessary.
  5. Sanitize washroom floors, toilets, and fixtures thoroughly.
  6. Clean mirrors and replenish restroom supplies as needed.
  7. Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage appropriately.
  8. Maintain cleanliness of entrance and exit areas, including glass and doors.
  9. Ensure outdoor areas are free from debris and snow.
  10. Disinfect drinking fountains and maintain cleanliness in break rooms.
  11. Report any damages or vandalism observed during cleaning duties.
  12. Utilize floor polishers to maintain floor appearance.
  13. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
