We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead our design efforts in the Energy & Industrial Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical engineering design process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the mechanical engineering design team in the development of detailed designs for new plants, modifications, and replacements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement design solutions that optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Review and approve design drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design, with a focus on integrated system design for heavy industrial plants.
- 3+ years of experience in leading engineering design teams through all phases of a project.
- PE license and strong knowledge of available equipment and pre-engineered systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
