Job Summary

The Community Custodian is a vital member of our team at Goldmark Property Management Inc, responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of our properties. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, stairways, and landings, by performing tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping.
  • Dispose of garbage and recyclables in a timely manner, and maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
  • Perform exterior maintenance tasks, including sweeping off outside steps or stoops, cleaning washers and dryers, and watering lawns and plants.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety protocols and reporting any hazards or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or grounds keeping preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Ability to work safely with cleaning products and equipment.
Working Conditions

The Community Custodian will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning products and equipment. The ability to work safely and efficiently in a variety of weather conditions is essential.
