Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Work on major components, such as engines, transmissions, and differentials, with close supervision.
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems, including electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a related mechanical field, with vocational courses or equivalent experience and training.
  • Experience in a truck dealership or similar environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of A/C and brake systems, as well as CAT, MX, and Cummins engines.
  • Electrical experience and necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
  • CDL preferred, but not required.
