**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator Specialist to join our team at Direct Design and Fabrication in Council Bluffs, IA. As a key member of our production process, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans to determine welding and fabricating requirements.
  • Measure and cut materials to specific lengths using various tools and equipment.
  • Weld and fabricate metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Welding certification is a plus.

About the Role:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
